In case anyone missed it.

Personally, I'm in favour of this - it just brings us into line with Europe anyway.  I changed my habits about 15 years ago: I used to allow myself one drink before driving, but after some thought I decided that even that was too much, unless the elapsed interval was large (e.g. a pint during sound check, and leaving the gig at 2am!).  Let's face it, any degree of impairment still has some effect on road safety - it's just a question of where one draws the line.  So the question is: how many deaths and injuries are "acceptable"?

What do the rest of you think?

I think it should be a ZERO tolerance policy and then there's no room for complaint.

Well of course there is the argument that you can have a tiny amount of alcohol on your breath from using freshener sprays...!  But I agree in principle.  At least everyone would know where the line was.
